feat(suppliers): add per supplier data quality view - #3574
Per supplier (facility) data quality view on the suppliers dashboard, over a rolling window (window_days, default 30, 1 to 365). Four separate metrics, no combined score. Each shows its count and denominator and opens the exact records.
Stacked on #3572.#3572 (data_gap_events) has not merged, so this branch is based on claude/gap-time-to-fix and this PR targets that branch. It reuses the same supplier_key (facility id).
Routes (signed in workspace only, tenant scoped, facility scoped to the calling supplier user, never public; both added to docs/security/route-security-manifest.json):
GET /v1/supplier/data-quality?window_days=30
GET /v1/supplier/data-quality/{facility_id}/records?metric=missing_kde|unlinked_lot&window_days=30&limit=50&offset=0
MIN_RECORDS = 20: below it a metric shows "Not enough data" instead of a share (counts still shown).
Unavailable: no per file, per facility EPCIS validation record exists
n/a
Metric 3 is labeled "Our measure, based on the agreed sending time with this supplier; not a regulatory requirement". There is no agreed sending time field anywhere in the schema (checked supplier_facilities, fsma.supplier_integration_profiles, fsma.tenant_portal_links; sla_tracking.SLA_HOURS is the FDA records request time, not a supplier agreement). None was invented; the UI shows the metric as unavailable with that reason.
Metric 4: EPCIS routes write events to fsma.cte_events; in strict mode a failing document is refused with 422 and nothing is stored, and fsma.ingestion_runs is written only by the CSV and remediation paths and has no facility column. So failing EPCIS files cannot be counted per facility. Shown as unavailable.
Migration: NONE in this PR
No DDL, no migrations. Any production migration needs C.Lee's yes. Metrics 3 and 4 would need the DDL below; it is not included and has not been applied anywhere.
Metric 3 (alters an EXISTING table, public.supplier_facilities):
ALTERTABLEpublic.supplier_facilities
ADD COLUMN agreed_sending_hours integerCHECK (agreed_sending_hours >0);
COMMENT ON COLUMN public.supplier_facilities.agreed_sending_hours IS'Agreed maximum hours from CTE event_time to receipt, per supplier facility. Internal measure, not a regulatory requirement.';

ruff check and ruff format --check on changed Python: clean
Metrics are computed in Python over the window's rows; fine at current volume, slower for large suppliers at 365 days.
Required KDE list is copied from services/ingestion/app/webhook_models.py into shared (admin cannot import ingestion); a test fails if they drift.
Note
Medium Risk
Adds tenant-scoped DDL and new authenticated APIs over supplier CTE data, plus fail-open writes on every EPCIS ingest path; receipt summaries are sanitized but migrations and ingest hooks need careful rollout.
Overview
Adds a per-facility supplier data quality experience on the suppliers dashboard: four separate rolling-window metrics (missing KDEs, unlinked lots, late CTEs, tenant-wide EPCIS rejections) with paginated drill-down for the first three—no combined score.
Schema and persistence: Migrations add supplier_facilities.agreed_sending_hours (positive integer, nullable) and fsma.epcis_document_receipts (tenant-scoped, SHA-256 of raw body, accepted/rejected, sanitized error_summary, RLS). EPCIS single-event, batch, and XML ingest routes now fail-open record one receipt per document; rejected shares feed the epcis_failed metric (same count on every facility, with explanatory copy).
API:GET /v1/supplier/data-quality, GET .../data-quality/{facility_id}/records, and tenant Owner/AdminPUT .../admin/facilities/{facility_id}/agreed-sending-hours. Logic lives in shared/supplier_data_quality and admin supplier_compliance_routes; suppliers see agreed hours as read-only (“Set by your customer”). Route security manifest and expected schema are updated; UI copy labels EPCIS as EPCIS (Preview) in ingest.
Tests: Broad unit/route coverage for metrics, receipts, and authorization; copy-lint baseline trimmed where EPCIS labeling was fixed.

Open one gap event per flagged missing KDE or failed CTE validation, close it only when a passing record for the same lot and CTE arrives, and store a receipt hash of the closing record. Adds a per supplier view with open gaps, median time to fix, oldest open gap and a 24 hour at risk flag citing 21 CFR 1.1455(c)(1). Migration included but not applied.

Walkthrough
The pull request adds supplier data-quality calculations, tenant-scoped APIs, agreed-sending-hours storage, and supplier-dashboard drilldowns. It also removes Inflow Lab and sample-data flows, updates empty states and documentation examples, and labels EPCIS features as Preview. Copy-lint gains baseline and gate checks. GitHub workflows change copy validation and review-comment handling.
The PR still contains unresolved review-gate integrity and supplier-dashboard risks, plus user-facing and test-contract regressions; these should be addressed before merge.
Security architecture risk: Moderate · up to 886eb
Access checks are preserved in the inspected paths. The main risks are resource-heavy reporting and review indicators that can remain successful after supporting verdicts change. Production safeguards and deployment sequencing are not fully established.
Retained concerns
Medium · security · inferred: The new reporting path materializes complete matching datasets before applying response pagination. The lot-linkage query additionally reads historical events for active lots without a time bound on that outer event join. An authenticated supplier with a sufficiently large owned dataset can repeatedly consume database resources, process memory, and synchronous execution time in the shared admin service. Tenant/facility authorization and existing frequency limits constrain access, but the 200-item response limit does not contain per-request work. Cross-tenant availability impact depends on deployed worker and database isolation; an outage was not demonstrated.
Medium · security · inferred: The newly accepted issue-comment verdicts do not have a complete invalidation lifecycle. Deleting the sole passing marker does not trigger recalculation, so its previously emitted success can persist. Edits trigger recalculation but are ordered by comment creation time, allowing a newly edited FAIL to be overwritten by a same-engine PASS in a later-created comment. Accepted authors are restricted to trusted repository associations, exact-head matching prevents cross-revision reuse, and the workflow is explicitly audit-only. Nevertheless, its success indicator can disagree with current verdict state; enforcement through branch protection was not established.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
inferred — Reporting inputs are constrained to an authenticated supplier's owned data, but expensive processing can affect resources shared by other admin requests. Review-status integrity is repository-scoped and requires an accepted repository association; the inspected workflow does not execute comment text as code or grant the commenter its token.
Security Findings and Attack Paths
inferred — The supported concern paths are repeated authorized reporting over a large owned dataset, and mutation or deletion of accepted verdict comments leaving an inaccurate success indicator. Inspection did not establish a cross-tenant read/write escape, an unauthenticated path, or a demonstrated production outage.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — Authentication validates tenant membership before route execution, and application queries retain explicit tenant/ownership predicates. Review-status processing restricts author associations and now requires an exact full head SHA. Self-asserted engine names and shared-account trust already existed at the merge base; those limitations are not attributed to this PR.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
inferred — The existing request-frequency limiter and 120-second asynchronous timeout reduce some abuse exposure, but do not impose a row or memory budget on reporting. Synchronous SQL and processing inside async handlers also cannot be assumed to be promptly interrupted by that timeout. Production database cancellation and workload isolation remain unverified.
Hardening Proposals
proposed — Bound reporting work independently of response size through database-side filtering/pagination and aggregation, with explicit execution budgets or isolated reporting capacity. Treat review verdicts as mutable state with edit-aware ordering and recalculation on deletion, while retaining exact-head and trusted-author checks.

Attribute active lots to the facility recording the events
When the same TLC is recorded at multiple facilities, this query assigns activity to the facility that originally created the lot rather than the facility receiving records in the window. _persist_supplier_cte_event reuses lots by tenant and TLC without changing their facility, so an old lot created at facility A and received this month at facility B appears in A's denominator while B reports zero lot activity. This also makes the unlinked-lot drilldown omit B's affected lots. Derive active facility/lot pairs from the windowed events, scoped to the calling user and requested facilities, instead of using l.facility_id.

Delta review of #3574 against claude/gap-time-to-fix at 867a629.
Code: sound.
Tenant isolation: /data-quality/{facility_id}/records runs _get_supplier_facility_or_404 (tenant + supplier_user) before any query, and both SQL queries filter on tenant, supplier_user_id and the facility ids. The fsma.transformation_links EXISTS is tenant-scoped.
The drill-down uses the same fetch_record_rows/flag_records and fetch_lot_rows/unlinked_lots as the summary, so the click-through matches the numerators.
late_cte and epcis_failed return status=unavailable with null numbers and a reason. They are not faked, and the drill-down rejects them with a 422.
The +3 routes match the 257/204/54 manifest bumps.
FAIL: real-data rule. The tests use invented IDs, codes and counts instead of data-free assertions:
services/admin/tests/test_supplier_data_quality_routes.py:16-22: hand-made UUIDs (00000000-...0001, ...f1, ...f2, ...f3). Generate them with uuid4().
Fix: build values from generated IDs and assert on relationships, for example "the returned code equals the input code", rather than literal invented values.
CI: the checks on this stacked base are still pending, and no backend test suite ran. I couldn't run the tests locally because sqlalchemy isn't installed outside the service venv.

When a lot is recorded at another facility, the unlinked-lot metric attributes its recent activity to the lot’s original facility and omits it from the receiving facility’s counts and drill-down.
Replace hand written UUIDs, record ids, lot codes and facility ids with uuid4 and crypto.randomUUID values, and assert on values derived from the generated inputs.

Fixed: every literal flagged earlier is gone (hand-made UUIDs, "r1", "TLC-*", "fac-1", "lot-9"). The backend tests now use uuid4, and the assertions are derived from those inputs.
FAIL: remaining invented values in the tests.
frontend/src/tests/components/supplier-data-quality.test.tsx:32: numerator: 1 + (Date.now() % 5) makes the test nondeterministic and the number is still arbitrary. Derive the count from the length of a generated input array.
frontend/src/tests/components/supplier-data-quality.test.tsx:33: numerator: 2 is arbitrary. Derive it the same way.
frontend/src/tests/components/supplier-data-quality.test.tsx:102: denominator: 30 is arbitrary. Use MIN_RECORDS or a generated length. (I missed this one last round.)
services/shared/tests/test_supplier_data_quality.py:40: "quantity": 10, and :251: "t", "u". Use generated values. (Also missed last round.)
CI: Vercel Preview Comments and CodeRabbit pass; Bugbot, Non-main PR Secret Scan, report and Vercel are pending. No backend suite has run on this stacked base.
Counts now come from lengths of generated id arrays or from MIN_RECORDS, DEFAULT_WINDOW_DAYS and MAX_WINDOW_DAYS. KDE values, reasons, tenant and user ids are generated. Removes the Date.now based numerator.

Delta review of #3574: f0dd136 -> 4332a82. Only the three test files changed.
Every item from review 5637378891 is fixed:
The Date.now() % 5 numerator, numerator: 2 and denominator: 30 are gone. Counts now come from the lengths of generated crypto.randomUUID() arrays (RECORD_IDS, FLAGGED_RECORD_IDS, LOT_IDS, UNLINKED_LOT_IDS), and total comes from the generated pair.
"quantity": 10 is now MIN_RECORDS, and "t", "u" are now uuid4.
A full pass over all three test files finds no remaining invented values. All ids, codes, reasons and KDE values are generated, and all counts are derived from input arrays. What's left is allowed: KDE names, CTE types, metric keys, MIN_RECORDS=20, WINDOW_DAYS=30 (which mirrors the DEFAULT_WINDOW_DAYS spec constant), and the deliberately invalid validation inputs ('not-a-uuid', 'anything', limit=201, window 0, -1 and MAX_WINDOW_DAYS+1).
CI: Vercel Preview Comments and CodeRabbit pass; Bugbot, Non-main PR Secret Scan, report and Vercel are pending. No backend suite has run on this stacked base, so merging still needs green backend CI after this is retargeted to main.

Bound full-window drill-down work before scaling the supplier view.
The route loads every matching row, computes the complete metric, constructs every item, and only then applies items[offset : offset + limit]. Each page repeats this work. The supplier tables have no per-facility row limit, and the ingestion path can persist additional events, so sufficiently large facilities can make this path slow or exceed the client’s 30-second timeout.
For unlinked_lot, the query is less bounded than the comment states: it identifies active lots in the window, then loads all records for each active lot without an event-time filter.
Do not add simple SQL LIMIT/OFFSET clauses. flag_records filters missing KDEs in Python, unlinked_lots groups rows and checks all records for each lot, and total requires the complete derived result. Use materialized derived rows and counts, or implement equivalent SQL filtering and aggregation that preserves these semantics.

Bound drill-down work before constructing page items in the supplier compliance
route, while preserving the derived filtering, grouping, and complete total
semantics for flag_records and unlinked_lots; for unlinked_lot, also constrain
record loading to the event-time window. Use materialized derived rows and
counts or equivalent SQL filtering and aggregation rather than applying
LIMIT/OFFSET to raw rows.

No migrations in this PR. Real-data check is clean: the non-test files have no seed or synthetic data ("seeds" in services/shared/supplier_data_quality.py refers to the shared.rules.seeds module).
CI: tests/security/test_route_security_manifest.py passes in the repo-root suite (24 passed), so the local failures were only the missing typesafe_sdk.
Non-blocking, not from this PR: the repo-root suite fails at "Schema parity audit: EXTRA TABLE public.data_gap_events". That table comes from main's v135 (alembic/versions/20261024_41f96588d87c_v135_data_gap_time_to_fix.py), and docs/schema/expected_schema.json on main doesn't include it. Main needs a snapshot regen.

* feat(suppliers): agreed sending hours per facility and live late CTE metric

* fix(copy): real-data follow-up to #3471 (v3) (#3544)
* fix(dashboard): drop fabricated demo data from recall report page
Remove the hardcoded demo investigation stats and affected-lot rows
(invented suppliers, lot codes, consumer counts). Demo mode now renders
the same No data yet empty state with a link to import records.
* feat(copy): label every EPCIS intake and export mention as (Preview)
EPCIS is preview on both paths, so feature-name mentions across app and
marketing copy now carry the (Preview) marker. The integrations eyebrow
now reads CSV upload, JSON events API, EPCIS (Preview). The FDA sortable
export stays unlabeled. Stored keys and option values are unchanged.
* fix(copy): keep typed EPCIS format value unlabeled in customer-readiness
The format field is a string union used for logic; the (Preview) marker
stays on the display name only.
* feat(pricing): show honest unavailable state when billing is unreachable
Drop the hardcoded tier prices and the silent fallback. Prices now come
only from the billing service; when it cannot be reached the page renders
a Pricing is temporarily unavailable state with signup and contact links
instead of invented figures. Hardcoded dollar amounts in the pricing copy
and metadata are removed as well. EPCIS 2.0 export carries the (Preview)
label; the FDA sortable export stays unlabeled.
* fix(app): remove sample and sandbox banners and the simulated ingest walkthrough
Dashboard shell and DemoBanner now say No data yet with a link to connect
real data on the Ingest page. The ingest page no longer fakes a job for
the first example URL; it submits for real. The Sample: Daily FDA package
archive entry is removed from the archive jobs list. Test assertions
updated for the EPCIS (Preview) status labels.
* fix(data-import): remove synthetic sample dataset simulation
Delete SAMPLE_EVENTS, the handleLoadSample flow with its state and types,
and the Load Sample Dataset / Run Simulation card. A regression test
asserts the control is not rendered. Real CSV upload and the API guide
are unchanged.
* test(copy): assert csv-sftp display text never renders SFTP
Display labels were already clean (CSV Import); this locks the invariant

csv_sftp_import delivery-mode label. Stored keys and ids are unchanged.

* fix(tools): remove Inflow Lab simulator, walkthrough sample payloads and recall drill demo data

Recalculate the status when an issue comment is deleted.
If a reviewer deletes the only passing marker comment, neither created nor edited starts a run. The previously posted success status remains until another event recalculates it. Add deleted so the workflow can remove that stale pass; GitHub supports that activity type. (docs.github.com)

Order edited markers by their edit time.
If an engine edits an older comment to FAIL after posting a newer PASS, created_at keeps the edited failure first. The later PASS then overwrites it in latestMarkers, and the workflow can report success despite the newer decision. Use the comment's updated_at for submitted_at. GitHub returns both timestamps for issue comments. (docs.github.com)

Exclude PR-author comments from independent PASS markers.
The workflow accepts PR issue comments from allowed associations, but it does not compare the comment author with pr.user. A PR author can therefore post a full-SHA PASS marker for another engine and produce a successful status without an independent reviewer.
This filters author-authored PASS comments while preserving the existing BLOCKED and FAIL handling.

Loosened assertion: the lot-code check now passes when no lot code is rendered.
The old test required at least one lot code. The new loop runs over lots, and lots can be empty. If a page drops the "traceability_lot_code" field, the test still passes and nothing flags the missing KDE in the sample.

Legacy demo responses still render fabricated dimensions, actions and summary.
isNoData is true for demo_mode === true. The comment on lines 130-132 says legacy demo responses are treated like no_data. Only the empty-state card honors that.
dimensions, actionItems, overallScore, and report.executive_summary (line 308) still come straight from the response. A legacy demo payload still shows its fabricated dimension grid, prioritized actions and summary beneath the "No data yet" card. Line 308 now also removes the old demo guard on the summary.
The new tests use only the no_data fixture. They do not cover this path.

Walkthrough Steps 2 and 3 show a receiving payload for transformation and shipping events.
Both steps render INGEST_CURL_SAMPLE. That sample is a receiving skeleton with receive_date, receiving_location, immediate_previous_source, reference_document and tlc_source_reference. The text asks the reader to change cte_type and add kdes.input_lot_codes. It does not list the other KDEs these CTEs require.
A reader who follows the text literally sends a transformation or shipping event with receiving KDEs. The backend then rejects it with a missing-KDE error. The step also never says where to set the new output lot for Transformation.
Add a short list of the required KDEs for each CTE in these steps. You can also link to /docs/api#required-kdes, which the API reference already provides.

Pricing page renders with zero tiers when plans load but none are complete.
fetchBillingPlans returns non-null for any non-empty plan array. The unavailable view is only shown when livePlans is null. If the billing service returns plans whose ids do not match base/standard/premium, or whose four price fields are not all numbers, flatMap drops every tier.
PricingPageClient then renders an empty tier grid. The hero copy, "Founding rate" claims, comparison table and FAQ still appear, and no price or error message is shown. This state is easy to hit during a partial billing outage or a schema change.
Show the same unavailable view when pricingTiers.length === 0.
Also, revalidate = 3600 caches the rendered page. A single failed billing fetch can therefore keep the unavailable page live for up to an hour. Consider a shorter revalidate window for this case.

A live query with zero matches shows "Connect your data" copy.
result.results.length === 0 also holds when the NLP service answers (isLiveResult is true) and finds no rows. The page then tells the user "No data yet. Connect your data to run queries." That message is wrong for a user who already has connected data.
Branch on isLiveResult. Keep the connect-your-data message for the fallback parser. Show a "No matching records" message for live results.

show a no-matching-records message for live query results and retain the
connect-your-data message for fallback-parser results.

Remove the unused fabricated RECALL_DRILL_RUNS fixture.
RECALL_DRILL_RUNS has no consumers. The recall-drills page imports only the RecallDrillRun type and currently returns an empty items list. Delete this fixture from the production module.

Remove the unused RECALL_DRILL_RUNS fixture from the production module in

are still used.

Review comment at @frontend/tests/visual/routes.json at line 1:
Move /docs/connectors/inflow-lab, /tools/inflow-lab, and
/tools/inflow-lab-dashboard-preview from the public array to expectRedirectOr404
in the route data, so the visual suite treats their unconditional notFound()
responses as expected rather than capturing them as public pages.

* feat(suppliers): agreed sending hours per facility and live late CTE metric
Adds supplier_facilities.agreed_sending_hours (nullable, positive) with Alembic and Supabase migrations and downgrades, a tenant scoped PUT route and dashboard control, and computes the late CTE metric against the agreed sending time.

* fix(copy): real-data follow-up to #3471 (v3) (#3544)
Display labels were already clean (CSV Import); this locks the invariant
for the csv-sftp registry entry name, customer copy, and the
csv_sftp_import delivery-mode label. Stored keys and ids are unchanged.
* fix(receiving): use a comma in generated Receiving Dock location names
New receiving submissions name the location 'Receiving Dock, <supplier>'
instead of using a dash. No existing records are touched.
* fix(inflow-lab): hide Inflow Lab links from dashboard, docs, ingest, integrations and product
* fix(tools): remove Inflow Lab simulator, walkthrough sample payloads and recall drill demo data
Drops tools/inflow-lab components, lib/api-samples ingest walkthrough JSON, synthetic tools/ask and tools/export copy, and invented proof/recall-drill numbers. Recall report shows the #3536 no_data empty state.

Make the cross-tenant test fail when the tenant predicate is absent.
FakeSession.execute returns no facility when the query binds only the facility ID, so test_admin_of_another_tenant_gets_404 can still pass after removing tenant scoping. The real-model test covers membership authorization; its other-tenant case is rejected before the facility lookup.

Late CTE reason shown twice
Low Severity
The new reason line renders whenever a metric is not unavailable and has a reason. For late_cte with no agreed sending time, that same reason is already inlined in the “Not enough data” value, so the sentence appears twice.

Codex review of 7b8689e (read-only codex exec + local checks).
Verified:
Alembic: check_alembic_revisions.py passes, 105 files, single head a3f7ce361b0e (41f96588d87c -> b005ddbf1dba -> a3f7ce361b0e), no orphans.
RLS: both new tables ENABLE + FORCE RLS with the CASE-form tenant policy; every new query in supplier_data_quality.py / epcis_receipts.py filters tenant_id. Supabase SQL and expected_schema.json match the Alembic columns.
No invented business IDs/numbers found in the diff.
Non-blocking follow-ups:
services/shared/epcis_receipts.py:42 – receipts are one row per submission with no (tenant_id, document_sha256) uniqueness, so client retries of the same body inflate the epcis_failed denominator. Fine if per-submission is intended; consider dedupe by hash in the counts query.
services/ingestion/app/epcis/router.py:162,430 – rejections before the handler body (JSON/model validation, XML mode/size checks) produce no receipt (test_epcis_document_receipts.py:277 confirms), so the rejected share undercounts. Worth documenting on the metric.
services/shared/supplier_data_quality.py:375 – the active-lot join on w doesn't filter w.supplier_user_id/facility_id, so another same-tenant supplier's event can mark a lot active. Same-tenant metric skew only, not a cross-tenant leak.
Downgrades of v136/v137 drop the column/table and the data collected after deploy. That's normal for additive migrations; just note it in the rollback runbook.
Note: the v136/v137 downgrades drop data_gap/receipt data recorded after deploy; that's expected for additive migrations. Follow-ups: SEL-520, SEL-521, SEL-522.
Resolve scripts/copy-lint/baseline.json by taking main's baseline and
regenerating it with --update-baseline. Main already carries the dashless
walkthrough copy and the pruned baseline from #3574.

supplier_facilities.agreed_sending_hours(positive integer, nullable) andfsma.epcis_document_receipts(tenant-scoped, SHA-256 of raw body, accepted/rejected, sanitizederror_summary, RLS). EPCIS single-event, batch, and XML ingest routes now fail-open record one receipt per document; rejected shares feed theepcis_failedmetric (same count on every facility, with explanatory copy).API:
GET /v1/supplier/data-quality,GET .../data-quality/{facility_id}/records, and tenant Owner/AdminPUT .../admin/facilities/{facility_id}/agreed-sending-hours. Logic lives inshared/supplier_data_qualityand adminsupplier_compliance_routes; suppliers see agreed hours as read-only (“Set by your customer”). Route security manifest and expected schema are updated; UI copy labels EPCIS as EPCIS (Preview) in ingest.Tests: Broad unit/route coverage for metrics, receipts, and authorization; copy-lint baseline trimmed where EPCIS labeling was fixed.
