Collapse now exists at the axis level and nowhere else. The plot-area `collapsed` flag, its toggle, the "only the first axis of a collapsed area renders" filter and the area-only chips are gone; a project that still carries `collapsed: true` on an area drops the key on read and opens the area expanded (no migration, no legacy path). Every derived axis head, unified mode's single axis included, now has exactly one `.plot-axis-collapse` DisclosureToggle writing `axisCollapsed[axisId]`, as the first element of the head bar. On the parent head the grip follows it, then the area label, separator and axis label; the mode combobox, patterns button and remove button stay at the right. The all-hidden / solo-masked automatic collapse is kept per axis with its inert toggle and reason text. The collapsed-run drag handle stays: a collapsed non-parent axis has no grip of its own. The per-area derived-config memo is now keyed by that area's own collapsed axis ids rather than the whole `axisCollapsed` map, so collapsing one axis re-renders only its area (the render-scoping test that used to cover the area flag now covers this). ADR 0026 is amended to one collapse (per axis), CONTEXT.md's Collapse entry loses its plot-area half, the README collapse section and the ADR 0045 payload list drop the area flag.
