110-110: 🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick winRender digest-qualified image references correctly.
When
image.agent.tagis set tosha256:...,charts/snapshot/templates/daemonset.yamlprepends:for both the PageBroker and agent images. This produces references such asghcr.io/example/pagebroker:sha256:..., which Kubernetes cannot pull. No validation or helper handles this input.Use a helper that renders tags with
:and digests with@for both images. Add a digest override test covering the agent and PageBroker images.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

In `@charts/snapshot/templates/daemonset.yaml` at line 110, Update the daemonset image rendering for both PageBroker and agent images to use the shared helper that selects “:” for tags and “@” for sha256 digests, including when image.agent.tag overrides the default. Add a digest-override test asserting both rendered image references use the @ separator.

image.*.tag implied a shared tag key, but only image.operator.tag and image.agent.tag exist (PageBroker follows image.agent.tag). The imagePullSecrets default was documented as ngc-secret; values.yaml actually defaults to an empty list. Signed-off-by: Oleg Kushniriov <okushniriov@nvidia.com>
Explains what PageBroker's hardened-root securityContext does, not the alternative that wasn't implemented. Signed-off-by: Oleg Kushniriov <okushniriov@nvidia.com>
runtime_image_id and _dump_checkpoint_artifact exec into the agent DaemonSet pod without specifying a container. The pod now runs two containers (agent, pagebroker), so an unspecified container is ambiguous. Signed-off-by: Oleg Kushniriov <okushniriov@nvidia.com>
runtime_image_id now calls k8s.exec_payload with container=AGENT_CONTAINER, but the test mocks had a fixed positional signature and rejected the new keyword argument. Signed-off-by: Oleg Kushniriov <okushniriov@nvidia.com>

This change is absorbed into #258 in the replacement stack: #264 → #258 → #383 → #410 → #416 → #469.
The retained PRs now contain the final layout, shared transfer API, and complete engine selection at their respective introduction points.
Refs #267 and #237.
