feat(insight): six bilingual editorial rubrics, legacy redirects and CMS setup

Editorial direction

Introduces 6 human-readable, bilingual editorial rubrics: Tech & IA, Gaming & Culture, Business & Finance, Études & Carrières, Made in Africa, Société & Avenir. English headings, descriptions and localized routes are independently authored rather than translated mechanically.

Functionality

• A single typed taxonomy registry powers navigation, homepage desk cards, searchable archives, category labels, URL metadata, hreflang and locale switching.
• Each section gets a dedicated public FR/EN route (12 canonical URLs) and can show current stories tagged with either the new category or old legacy category IDs.
• Preserve old SEO URLs using permanent redirects: technology and information-systems to tech, business to finance, Africa to society, and the old local-buying landing to Made in Africa. Cameroun/Afrique local-buying guides remain accessible under their historic scoped URLs.
• Mobile editorial navigation is accessible through a menu, rather than disappearing below the desktop breakpoint.
• Add an authenticated, opt-in, idempotent POST and Payload admin button to create 6 bilingual categories. No automatic production data migration and no existing article relationships changed.
• Pages sitemap lists only canonical paths, with caching bounded to one day; test suite guards routing, aliases and translations.

Safety / coordination

• Rebased on merged GEO PR GEO: make Trigenys Insights discoverable and citable by AI answer engines #110 with original GEO article styles retained. Structured data, homepage metadata and generated llms.txt now reference the 6 editorial rubrics.
• No new database tables or schema migrations, so does not collide with PR GEO: make Trigenys Insights discoverable and citable by AI answer engines #110's Payload migrations.
• Legacy categories are preserved in Payload until their articles are audited. Future curated collections and tags are a separate follow-up.

Before merge

• Quality workflow lint, typecheck and unit tests on FINAL HEAD
• Preview FR/EN menu and desktop/mobile navigation
• Verify new section routes, 308 legacy redirects, canonical metadata, hreflang and sitemap
• Authenticate in Payload and press Installer les 6 rubriques only after code deployment; verify idempotence and existing articles intact
• Verify old articles appear under new rubrics and no empty categories are mistaken for missing content

Does not publish articles, reclassify posts, or touch the P0 skeleton or Cloudflare pilot.

Follow-up

Four cross-category editorial series and geographic filters are tracked in #112. The optional authenticated Payload setup button must be used after rollout to create the six canonical CMS category records; no published posts are silently reclassified.

Production verification — 12 Oct 2026

• Merge commit 678bad2382d1673d6066d39d752ab00660204f07; production Vercel deployment dpl_43NC8adoCkfME4M6QRAmzwQ1tLjJ is READY.
• main quality run 38185807766: SUCCESS. Feature branch final head quality run 38185649866: 20 unit files / 119 unit tests passed, lint and typecheck green.
• Fetched all 12 new canonical rubrique routes on insight.trigenys.com; FR/EN sections render localized headings/descriptions, legacy categories feed existing stories, and new gaming/education desks have a graceful no-content state.
• Live pages-sitemap.xml contains 28 URLs including all 12 canonical rubrique links; it contains no old /technology, /business, /information-systems, /africa or /consommer-local root entries.
• Old legacy routes were fetched and visibly resolve to the new rubric content; permanent (308) redirects are configured and covered by unit tests. Raw response status/Location was not independently inspected.
• CMS provisioning remains operator-initiated: a logged-in Payload editor must press ✦ Installer les 6 rubriques in admin to create actual localized CMS category records; existing posts are not modified.
• English Whisp story is currently French at /en/posts/whisp-wetransfer-swisstransfer-cameroun; tracked as editorial i18n issue #114, not caused by navigation.
• Cross-category series and country filters tracked in #112.

Search indexation and mobile interaction still need post-deployment monitoring; deployment and sitemap validity alone do not prove indexing.
