Production finding (12 Oct 2026)

After rubric PR #111, /en/built-in-africa surfaces the Whisp review in French.
The canonical article path /en/posts/whisp-wetransfer-swisstransfer-cameroun currently returns French headline, summary and body, matching the /fr version. This appears to be an existing editorial translation/content issue rather than a category routing failure.

Actions

  • Audit published en titles/excerpts/bodies for actual English content, not only presence of localized fields.
  • Prioritize Whisp review. Either write and fact-check a real EN adaptation, or remove its EN locale from public discovery until editorially verified (without deleting the FR source).
  • Check generated article sitemaps, llms.txt, hreflang and language switcher for any FR-only article erroneously advertised as available in English.
  • Review EN-original versus FR-to-EN adaptation policy. EN-original topics for anglophone Africa must not be replaced by literal translations.
  • Introduce an editorial pre-publication check that flags language mismatches without making automated language detection a hard censorship gate.

No production content changed by this issue.
