Remote Control

Work on a device directly from the dashboard. All remote features run over the same secure connection as the agent, so there are no inbound ports to open on the device — but the device must be online.

Remote desktop

View and control a device's screen from the browser.

  • Quality presets:
    • Balanced (default) — crisp and smooth for everyday use.
    • Sharp — near-lossless at native resolution (best for detail, needs more bandwidth).
    • Smooth — favours frame rate on slower links.
  • The session auto-reconnects if the browser's connection to the server briefly drops (a proxy/CDN or network blip) — only a deliberate Disconnect ends it.
  • Idle sessions stay up (they won't time out just because nobody's moving the mouse).

Terminal

Open a shell on the device (PowerShell on Windows, shell on Linux) for quick command-line work, streamed live to the browser.

Files

Browse, upload, download and delete files on the device, and check folder sizes.

Other device actions

From a device you can also:

  • Reboot / shutdown
  • Wake (Wake-on-LAN — works while offline; see Wake-on-LAN)
  • Run a script (see Scripts)
  • Push an agent update

Auditing

Remote-control and terminal sessions, commands/scripts run, power actions, Wake-on-LAN and file operations are recorded in the device's History tab — who did what, and when.
