Leuffen RMM is a self-hosted remote monitoring & management platform: a central server with a web dashboard, and a lightweight agent that runs on each managed device (Windows, Linux and Synology).
This wiki explains how the main pieces work and how to run day-to-day tasks.
- Getting Started — what the parts are and how they connect
- Installing the Agent — the one-click shareable installer, silent MSI install, and approving devices
- Policies and Monitors — the Policies tab, monitor templates, device-type tags & filter
- Remediation — run a fix automatically on alert, or on demand (scripts + built-in actions)
- Wake-on-LAN — make a device wakeable and auto-wake it when it drops
- Updates and Notifications — alert on pending OS updates and notify the signed-in user
- Backup Monitoring — Synology Active Backup health
- Scripts — the script library and how monitor scripts work
- Nodes and Network Discovery — promote an agent to a node; scan the LAN; relay Wake-on-LAN
- SNMP — poll switches/printers/UPSes through a node
- Remote Control — remote desktop, terminal and file transfer
- Administration — organisations, users, alerts, appearance, updates
- Troubleshooting — "device shows offline", "server not found", agent logs, and more
Tip: the dashboard's top bar has a Wiki button (this wiki) and a Debug button that opens a pre-filled GitHub issue with the RMM version and page details — handy when reporting a problem.
