…t ops Tier 2. git-lfs is not installed but the repo still ships LFS config (filter + .git/hooks + .gitattributes rules for *.shp/*.dbf/*.shx/*.cpg/*.prj). Every push/merge fires a failing LFS hook; the PR #42 merge aborted a branch-switch mid-operation and left the working tree half-reverted until manual recovery. The config is now vestigial — all five LFS patterns are shapefile extensions deleted in C-39, so it matches zero files. Fix: `git lfs install`, or retire LFS (drop the rules/config/hooks). git-lfsis not installed in the working environment, but the repo still ships Git LFS config — thefilter.lfs.processfilter, four.git/hooks(pre-push/post-merge/post-checkout/post-commit), and.gitattributesrules for*.shp/*.dbf/*.shx/*.cpg/*.prj. Every push/merge fires a failing LFS hook (forcing--no-verify), and during the PR #42 merge the post-merge hook aborted a branch-switch mid-operation, leaving the working tree half-reverted (~90 files showing deleted) until manual recovery.The config is now vestigial: all five LFS patterns are shapefile extensions that were deleted in C-39, so the rules match zero files yet still break tooling for anyone cloning without git-lfs.
Fix (either):
