Superseded by the review and compatibility decision documented in #276 (#276). TypeScript 7.0.2 cannot currently be integrated: the existing Documentation portal workflow fails npm ci (ERESOLVE), and @astrojs/check 0.9.10 supports TypeScript ^5 || ^6, not 7. The consolidated PR keeps TypeScript 5.9.3 and temporarily prevents incompatible TypeScript 7 Dependabot bumps. This major upgrade can be revisited when Astro tooling supports it. Closing this PR as intentionally deferred, not merged.
