Copy only.

  • docs/api error codes use ': '
  • ROI ranges use 'to'
  • 'OpenAPI 3.0 spec (Preview)'
  • 'production keys' instead of 'live keys' in auth docs
  • 'sample' wording removed from quickstart, walkthrough, webhooks
  • capabilities.off emptied
  • new /compare index page linking the three existing comparisons

Tests: tsc --noEmit clean; eslint 0 errors (60 pre-existing warnings, same as main); design-lint clean; vitest src/tests/{pages,lib,components} 787 passed, 2 skipped.

Reviewer: Gemini (engine review).

Note

Low Risk
Marketing and documentation copy plus internal lint tooling; no API, auth, or data-path behavior changes in the diff.

Overview
Adds a marketing /compare index that links to the three existing competitor comparison pages with SEO metadata and card summaries.

Docs and product copy are tightened for consistency: auth docs say production keys (not live keys), SDK/OpenAPI references explicitly say (Preview), quickstart/walkthrough refer to the ingest command instead of a sample, and outbound webhooks use Payload format (Planned). The ROI estimator option labels use to instead of hyphenated ranges so copy-lint passes.

Copy-lint is updated to match: off (and planned) registries may be empty or omitted; live-claim ignores negated GA disclaimers like “not GA”; baseline counts drop for fixed quickstart/walkthrough/ROI violations. New unit tests cover registry parsing and the live-claim exception.

Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit 8253782. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.

Use ': ' in API error codes, 'to' in ROI ranges, label the OpenAPI 3.0 spec Preview, say production keys, drop 'sample' wording, empty the capabilities off list, and add a /compare index page.

REVIEW: FAIL muse 3d8679f

Findings

  1. Blocking — capabilities.off: [] breaks copy-lint. Confirmed on this head: parseCapabilities in scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.mjs throws Empty off capability registry when off is empty (only planned may be empty). Copy-lint tests also require capabilities.off.length > 0 and use off[0]/off[1] as the edi-sftp denylist terms. Emptying off removes that denylist (no-op) and will fail the copy-lint suite/gate on load.

  2. Non-blocking — rest of PR is copy/marketing only. Docs punctuation (: vs em dash), "production keys", "command" vs "sample", OpenAPI Preview label, ROI "to" ranges, and the new static /compare index look fine. No new tests, no made-up empty-state sample data, no hardcoded tenant/key literals.

Verdict

FAIL until off keeps non-empty registry entries (restore ['EDI', 'SFTP'] or an intentional replacement that still drives edi-sftp), then re-request review.

Bring #3642 up to date before the capabilities.off restore push.
Empty off broke parseCapabilities and the copy-lint suite, and
disabled the edi-sftp denylist. Restore the registry entries and
add a regression test that empty off is rejected.

REVIEW: PASS muse 4b54e04

Findings

  1. Resolved — empty capabilities.off. Restored off: ['EDI', 'SFTP'] so parseCapabilities no longer throws and the edi-sftp denylist stays enforced. Added regression test an empty off registry is rejected. Local copy-lint: 17/17 pass.
  2. Merged origin/main (merge commit d574000) before the fix commit; no rebase/amend/force.

No remaining blockers from the prior FAIL on 3d8679f.

parseCapabilities treated off: [] like a hard error, which broke
callers that mean "nothing disabled". Accept empty or omitted off as
an empty denylist; keep live/preview non-empty and other validation.
Replace the empty-off rejection test with empty + omitted coverage.

Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Reject an unparseable off declaration.

A present declaration such as off: Object.freeze(['EDI']) does not match the array regex. This branch treats it as omitted, so the linter silently stops checking EDI and other disabled features. Detect a present but unparseable off property and throw instead of defaulting it to empty.

Findings

  1. Blocking — scripts/copy-lint/baseline.json is stale after the intentional copy cleanups. Confirmed with node scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.mjs . --gate --base-baseline <origin/main baseline> (exit 1):

    • frontend/src/lib/roi-calculator-data.ts / hyphen-dash: main=4, PR baseline=4, actual=0 (ranges now use to)
    • frontend/src/app/docs/quickstart/page.tsx / sample-demo: main=1, PR baseline=1, actual=0 (sample → command)
    • frontend/src/app/docs/walkthrough/page.tsx / sample-demo: main=1, PR baseline=1, actual=0
gateCompare requires PR baseline counts to match actual after a drop (baseline.json is stale, run --update-baseline). This PR does not update baseline.json. Cursor Bugbot already flagged the same issue.
  2. Non-blocking — rest of the delta looks fine. Docs/SDK wording, ROI to ranges, /compare index (summaries match child-page metadata), and parseCapabilities allowing empty/omitted off while still rejecting empty/missing live/preview are coherent. Product registry still has off: ['EDI','SFTP']. Local node --test scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.test.mjs: 22/22 pass. Changed PR files are copy-lint clean when scanned alone.

  3. Non-blocking note — CodeRabbit edge case on unparseable present off (e.g. non-array form) being treated as omitted. Theoretical; current registry uses a plain array. Not a merge blocker for this head.

Verdict

FAIL until scripts/copy-lint/baseline.json is refreshed with --update-baseline for the reduced counts above (and re-request review). Do not merge on this head.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win

Keep disabled-feature tests independent of the registry contents.

The current head still defines off as ['EDI', 'SFTP'], so these tests do not fail today. If the supported fixture changes to off: [], the nonempty assertion fails and the indexed values become undefined. Use a fixed disabled-feature registry for the edi-sftp and live-claim tests.

Match negation without case sensitivity.

EPCIS export Preview: Not GA still produces a live-claim because the replacement only matches lowercase not. Match the negation case-insensitively and add a test for this form.

Do not remove negated claims across separate copy segments.

REVIEW: PASS deepseek 5d2c7ef

Findings

  1. Gate and tests green. node scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.mjs . --gate --base-baseline <origin/main:scripts/copy-lint/baseline.json> exits 0. node --test scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.test.mjs is 23/23. Baseline drops (quickstart/walkthrough sample-demo; roi hyphen-dash) match real copy cleanups; no loosened keys.

  2. live-claim "not GA" skip is safe. scripts/copy-lint/check-copy.mjs:153-155 only strips lowercase not GA / not yet GA before the Live/GA/Available/Implemented test. Trust disclaimer no longer flags; real claims (is GA, is Live, is Available, is Implemented, not GA but is Live) still flag. Case variants Not GA / NOT GA still flag (safer false positive, not a miss).

  3. capabilities.off restore holds. frontend/src/lib/capabilities.ts:6 keeps off: ['EDI', 'SFTP'], so edi-sftp still fires. Empty/omitted off is allowed by design (tests cover it); residual follow-up only: a future typo that omits the key would silence edi-sftp until baseline refresh.

  4. Docs/compare are copy-only. Production keys, command vs sample, OpenAPI Preview label, ROI "to" ranges, and the new /compare index look fine. No invented data, no tenant/auth/backend changes. Non-blocking: /compare is not in sitemap or visual routes and has no inbound nav/footer link.

Verdict

PASS. No merge from this review.

Compare index missing from sitemap

Medium Severity

The new /compare hub sets a canonical URL and is a public marketing page, but sitemap.ts still lists only the three child comparison routes. This hub is also absent from marketing nav and footer, so crawlers that follow the sitemap will not discover it.

Compare page drops social card image

Medium Severity

The new page declares its own openGraph block without images and has no segment opengraph-image.tsx. Next replaces the root openGraph object wholesale, so shares of /compare lose the social card image that the three sibling comparison pages already ship.
