Superseded by #35, now merged.

The version bumps in this PR are all present there, but they could not land on their own: xunit.v3 4.0 drops VSTest on the .NET 10 SDK, and MTP 2.4.0 raises the error from inside _MTPBeforeVSTest guarded on the SDK major version alone — so TestingPlatformDotnetTestSupport, which the error message points at, cannot suppress it. The opt-in is global.json.

#35 also removes Microsoft.NET.Test.Sdk, xunit.runner.visualstudio and coverlet.collector rather than bumping them, since all three are VSTest-only and inert under MTP. Reasoning is recorded in Directory.Packages.props and docs/deferred-work.md.
