fix: finish small follow-ups across forms, router, http, analog, signals and compat - #418
Conversation
A blocked submit always read "invalid, so the action did not run". Errors returned by the submission action were never recorded, and a thrown action was only seen when it went unhandled. Blocked submits now name the invalid fields and validator kinds, a new rejected outcome records the errors the action returns, and a throw is recorded once even when the app catches it. Reactive submits list their invalid controls. Only state Angular already computed is read. Refs #372
pangular lint runs lint-templates, lint-pipes and the static Analog checks and prints JSON or SARIF 2.1.0. --output writes to a file, --only picks lints and --fail-on sets the severity that exits with code 1. Lints that need a live page are left out, and the CLI docs say so. Refs #372
Events-only mode only means ng.ɵgetInjectorProviders is missing, which limits setup detection. The route config is still read. The lint, tree, audit and inspect messages said the config could not be read, which contradicted the docs. They now say the config has not been reported yet. Refs #368
Incremental hydration often finishes after the change detection that runs the collectors, so the hydration stats stayed stale until the next counter change or time bucket. A MutationObserver watches for Angular removing the ngb attribute from a hydrated block's elements and pushes a fresh scan at once. It only watches and never writes to the page. Blocks hydrated on viewport, timer, idle, immediate or when carry no ngb attribute and still update on the next scan; the docs say so. Refs #369
… cap A [routerLink]="x" binding on a div or section leaves no attribute in the DOM, so the link scan never saw it, and links past 100 were cut off without a count. RouterLink sets tabindex on non-anchor hosts and href on anchors, so those join the candidates, still confirmed through ng.getDirectives. Links past the cap are counted in linksTruncated, and lint-routes and inspect-route say how many were not checked. The overlay also starts the defer hydration watch. Refs #368
The Analog config scan read literal options only and skipped the rest without a word. It now marks the config partial with the reasons: options from a variable, spreads, non-literal ssr, static or apiPrefix, dynamic routeRules or prerender routes, and a missing or unclosed analog() call. A config-partial lint warning, a note in the render and prerender tools and a note on the panel's Render tab show it. Refs #369
… 20.3 The resource folding test failed on 20.3 because Angular only names a resource's internal signals from 21.0.1, so on 20.x there is nothing to group. The test now gates on 21.0.1 and checks the 20.x behaviour instead. ɵgetTransferState was listed from 21.0 but ships from 20.2. A new signal-history-real test runs in the matrix. It found that before Angular 20 the write hook is called without the node, so every write was dropped and the NG0100 explainer wrongly said no named signal was written. The hook is now probed and treated as missing there. Refs #373
…ot attach Change detection recording could still say it needs Angular 20 on a supported app: when Angular had not started yet it never retried, apps without ng-version never recorded, and a failed profiler attach was reported as an old version. Recording now retries on each push until it attaches, ng.enableProfiling stands in for the version when ng-version is missing, and the tools and panel say the recording could not attach yet. Refs #366
About 60 hex colours in the Analog view and the router timeline phase colours were hard-coded and outside the contrast test. They are now hue and phase tokens for both themes, and the contrast test covers them. Six light-theme hue texts and all four light phase colours failed contrast before and are one shade darker now. Refs #370 Refs #368
Each value-history entry of a component's own writable signal, linked signal or model gets a Restore button. The page keeps the raw value of each kept history entry and writes that exact value back with set(), so large values, values with masked secrets and values that are not JSON restore exactly. Only the redacted result goes over the wire. A write locator matches graph nodes to the component's own fields. The restore is refused when the field cannot be matched, the entry is gone or the value changed in place. It is gated like component edits: a live, non-native page with actions.components allowed. Refs #367
…nt's field Graph nodes were matched to fields by kind, version, name and value, so a service signal the template reads could be bound to a look-alike component field, and a restore would write the service's value into it. A binding is now proven by walking from the field's own reactive node to its consumers and back along the graph's edges, and is checked again on every collect. Raw history values are kept only for nodes with a proven field and only while restore is allowed, and dropped when the binding goes away. Refs #367
Two forms sharing one submission object nested their wrappers, so one throw was recorded twice and teardown left a wrapper in place. Each submission object is now wrapped once, a throw is attributed to the form that submitted, and the original action comes back when the last form leaves. Refs #372

The repository documentation guidelines require "One idea per sentence. Keep sentences short and plain." The history and config caps paragraph now covers navigations, preloads, route caps, link caps and "at least" wording. Consider a table of cap name, limit and reporting tool. Do not use "at least" wording that mixes two ideas in one sentence.

The text "the scan can't know its value" has two problems. The rule says one idea per sentence. The sentence also joins several ideas with "then". Split it into short sentences. Use "The Render view shows a note with the reasons" as a separate sentence. State the condition first.

-The scan reads the `analog()` options as written in `vite.config`, without running the file. It reads `ssr`, `static`, `apiPrefix`, `prerender.routes` and `routeRules` only when they are literals. If an option comes from a variable, a spread (`...`), a template string or a computed key, the scan can't know its value. The **Render** view then shows a note with the reasons, the lint reports `config-partial`, and `analog-render-modes` and `analog-prerender-plan` add a **Config read in part** line. The modes and the plan may be missing what the scan could not read. +The scan reads the `analog()` options as written in `vite.config`. It does not run the file. 198-198: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low valueSplit the long paragraph into shorter sentences.
The docs guide asks for one idea per sentence and short, plain sentences. Line 198 packs many ideas into one paragraph. The new sentence "If the page has the profiler hook but the recording could not attach to it, for example because the app had not started yet, the section says so and the page tries again on each update while recording is on" has three ideas. Split it. Put the condition first.
