- pr-version-label.yml: defaults a new PR to Tag/Patch, and blocks merging (as a required check) if more than one of Tag/Patch, Tag/Minor, Tag/Major is present. Zero labels is allowed -- an explicit way to merge without creating a new version. - release.yml: on merge, reads whichever Tag/* label was on the PR, bumps MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH from the latest existing tag accordingly, and creates the tag + a GitHub release (with GitHub's own auto-generated notes) against the actual merge_commit_sha -- not the PR branch's original head, so this works correctly under merge, squash, or rebase strategies alike, and never tags a PR that didn't actually land on main. No LLM call in CI for the bilingual plain-language release summary -- that gets added afterward by a local agent when available.
