Summary

  • New tab: logo and search centred on screen, then one row of Edge-style quick-link tiles (initial in a circle, name underneath). The tiles are the user's own shortcuts, then favourites, then recent history, deduplicated and capped at 8. The "Continuar assistindo", "Favoritos" and "Aplicativos" sections are replaced by this single list (#sites, labelled "Acesso rápido").
  • No preset apps: DEFAULT_SHORTCUTS is now empty. Settings schema 5 migrates away the untouched old list (YouTube TV, Twitch, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Spotify) and keeps any list the user edited (unit-tested).
  • A fresh install shows only the logo and search. Users can still add shortcuts in Settings → "Atalhos na nova aba".
  • E2e fixtures now seed one user shortcut (YouTube TV) for the controller journeys, and the first-boot journey waits for the search engine onboarding picked.

Test plan

  • npm run typecheck
  • npm test (103 passed)
  • npm run test:e2e (all pass after the first-boot fix; 3 skipped)
  • Screenshots: empty profile and profile with favourites and history

The new tab is now the logo and the search field in the middle of the
screen, with one row of Edge-style quick-link tiles under it: the
shortcuts the user added, then favorites, then recent sites, deduplicated
and capped at eight. A fresh install shows no tiles at all.

The six preinstalled streaming shortcuts are gone from the defaults, and a
settings migration (schema 5) removes them from installs that still hold
the untouched list; a list the user edited is kept.
