  • Adds a World section, with Faiths as its first subsection.

    • Golarion pantheon was moved hither from the Cleric page
    • Other faith and greater being related content was moved to it from Resources as well
  • Pantheons

    • Added Golarion minor deities
    • Added blurbs for Golarion deities
    • Expanded on Kunek deities 🐰
    • Added drow pantheon
    • Tidied up folk-specific pantheon tables
  • Unrelated

    • Fix make serve for a podman setup
    • Changed some Kunek art to be uhhh... shorter
    • Fixed some broken links
    • Probably introduced some broken links

Note:
For the new Drow and Golarion minor deities, I didn't check the validity of their divine domains.
I've no clue if they are appropriate or even exist in your ruleset.

I don't know if I like the move of the dwarven and elven pantheons to another place. These folk are so different from what players would expect from dwarves and elves, and their gods are so entwined with how they live their lives. So if someone is playing one of those folk, they might read the folk description, and thus get info on the religion, but I don't think most will go to a different place to read more.

@Robertrigo I can move them back, and just keep the slightly tidied up versions.

If you have any comments on the contents, specifically the addition of Golarion's minor deities, the drow pantheon and the adjustments to the Kunek pantheon, I'm all ears.

Now that I think about it, your comment probably predates moving the halfling and gnome pantheons too.
I can easily move all the folk-specific pantheons back to their folk pages if you'd rather keep them there.

Y'all really suffering from my horrendous workflow.
Hope you're not getting emails for all of these pushes.

Moved folk pantheons back to their respective folk pages.
Tidied up the main pantheon a bit by grouping them under the same header and pointing to their folk pages there.

  • When clicking link to faiths from cleric - '/dnd/WorldFaith/a_pantheons.html' not found.

  • There are no links to follow in the menu.

  • Since pantheons link doesn't work, I have not looked at the minor Golarion deities.

  • Drow deities were left out by purpose. They are not a playable race, and even if they were, the deities are all CE, which would not be appropriate for players to follow. Adding them and adding domains does not make sense I think.

On broken links/missing pages;
Odd. Looks like you're missing the files locally. 🤔
They're definitely checked in, though.

On the Drow pantheon;

They are not a playable race

Oh, interesting. I missed this skimming the folk page. I'll get to them in detail soon.

the deities are all CE

Harsh. 😂
Faerûn's Drow pantheon includes Eilistraee, Lolth's daughter, as a CG goddess, patron to drow exiles/rebels. It offers an angle for playing a good-aligned drow character.

Consider renegade drow for future content, they can be good fun.
That said, we can leave out the Dark Seldarine until then. 😏
Can clean it up after work.

Both of these works for me locally.

Looks good. I'll just go through the minor deities domains.

The domains were a lot different in this rule set compared to standard DnD. But maybe something like this:

Kurgess NG God of competition, sport, physical development Agriculture, Protection, Strength
Milani CG God of devotion, hope, uprisings Life, Protection, Vengeance
Alseta LN God of doors, portal, thresholds Arcana, Knowledge, Order
Aroden LN God of culture, destiny, humanity Fate, Life
Brigh N God of clockwork, invention, time Forge, Knowledge
Sivanah N God of illusions, mysteries, reflections Arcana, Chaos, Trickery
Besmara CN God of piracy, sea monsters, strife Fortune, Ocean, Survival, Tempest, Trickery
Groetus CN God of apocalypse, oblivion, ruins Balance, Death, Fate
Hanspur CN God of river travel, rivers, smuggling Fortune, Nature, Survival, Trickery
Nocticula CN God of artists, exiles, midnight Chaos, Charm, Trickery
Achaekek LE God of assassins, divine punishment Death, Hunting, Order, Vengeance
Zyphus NE God of accidental death, graveyards, tragedy Death, Fate, War
Ghlaunder CE God of infection, parasites, stagnation Chaos, Death, Nature

I've assigned the domains to the minor deities, with exception of Aroden, which I gave none since he's considered dead. He's just included due to his importance to some of the other deities/lore.
And perhaps someone wants to roleplay a devout follower of a dead god. ( 🖐️ )

Looks good from my side.

One thing you need to change is the keywords extraction for the search. I made the changes here: main...update-extraction-faith-changes , you can just cherry-pick them to your branch and include in this PR, as it's kinda part of the same... You can test it by doing make extract and you'll see how many of each thing it finds.

Although he never seems to rest in his travels, Brandobaris always has time to reward halflings who dare to take risks and explore the world to make their own mark on it.
