Resolved by T18-01. Exact leading title/subtitle metadata repetitions are normalized at the shared preparation boundary; mismatches and fallback behavior are preserved. Local verification: 14 focused tests, 933 total tests, typecheck and contract checks passed.

T18-02 completed in PR #548. Regression coverage verifies metadata behavior across preparation and serialized publish payloads. Evidence: 35 focused tests, 940 full tests, typecheck, contracts, governance, Biome CI, and all required hosted checks including Mutation passed. Merge SHA: 6c01495.
