Thanks @tikhandesanket! Two notes:\n\n1. Red typecheck is a stale base, not your change — this PR only touches opensource/dynavec/ (landing page + contributor images), but the branch predates the current mypy config on development, so the required typecheck job fails on old src. A quick rebase onto development will make it green.\n2. The visual redesign is a maintainer/design call — @codeforstartups decides the landing-page look. Could you add before/after screenshots to the PR description so it can be reviewed at a glance?\n\nRebase + screenshots and it is ready for a design review.

Bring branch up to date with development base to fix stale mypy typecheck failure in CI (conflicts were in quantization.py / __init__.py, unrelated to landing-page changes; accepted development version). Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary

Complete revamp of the dynavec landing page covering the contributors section, cost calculator, benchmark charts, and a YouTube embed fix.

Changes

Contributors section

Replaced the horizontal auto-scroll carousel with a responsive portrait card grid (5 columns desktop → 2 columns mobile)
Core 5 contributors — Abhishek Gupta, Sanket Tikhande, Vardhaman Gupta, Shivam Gupta, Isha Zaka — shown prominently at the top with a coral accent border
All other contributors shown below in the same grid with a "Show more" expand button
Local photos stored in images/contributors/ — initials SVG avatar auto-generated as fallback for contributors without a photo
Live GitHub star count fetched from the GitHub API on page load, updates all star count placeholders (nav button, hero stats, contribute section) in a single request

Cost calculator

Full redesign with log-scale sliders replacing plain number inputs
Starter / Growth / Scale preset buttons snap all sliders at once
Side-by-side dynavec vs Pinecone estimated monthly pricing
Animated cost breakdown bars (S3 storage, S3 reads, DDB reads, DDB writes)
Moved into its own IIFE so a Chart.js error can never silently block it

Bug fixes

YouTube facade — clicking the play button now correctly embeds and plays the video (iframe was previously invisible because it lost container dimensions on replaceWith)
Benchmark charts — were blank due to an empty script.js; fully restored with Chart.js grouped bar, line, bar, and doughnut charts
Contributor photo — renamed ashish-kuumar.png → ashish-kumar.png to match the auto-generated path
