⚡ Bolt: [performance improvement] Optimize string allocations in casing utility - #80
Conversation
* Replace `.collect::<Vec<_>>().join("")` with `.collect::<String>()`
to avoid an unnecessary intermediate vector allocation.
* Replace `.collect::<String>()` with `.to_string()` when lowercasing
single characters to directly utilize the Display implementation.

💡 What: Optimized string manipulations in
casing.rsto avoid an unnecessary vector allocation duringPascalCaseconversions, and changed how a single-character string is built duringcamelCaseconversions. Added comments documenting the purpose of these changes and created a bolt.md journal entry with learnings.🎯 Why: To improve performance and memory efficiency by skipping an intermediate heap allocation (
Vec<String>) that isn't needed when we just want to collect characters into a finalStringrepresentation.📊 Impact: Reduces memory overhead and allocation time during string casing conversions. This is particularly relevant when the SDK generator runs over hundreds or thousands of operations.
🔬 Measurement: Code changes are verified to compile cleanly with no lint warnings, and all unit/integration tests pass.
