- Captures current
ad.anynet.id - Stops AnyDesk (5 aggressive cycles)
- Deletes identity files:
service.auth,ad.session.token,*.trace,*.old,service.conf,connection_trace.txt - Strips 5 identity keys from
system.conf(preserves favorites/aliases) - Wipes registry:
HKLM,HKCUAnyDesk keys - Starts AnyDesk, verifies new ID
The utility resets AnyDesk identity files and registry keys, which antivirus engines
classify as a potentially unwanted application (HackTool/PUA). AMSI may block the
script with ScriptContainedMaliciousContent even though the script is a legitimate
admin tool. The script is plain, readable PowerShell — no obfuscation — so if your
Defender still flags it, add an exclusion for the script path:
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath "$env:TEMP\anydesk-manager.ps1"For fleet machines, push the exclusion via GPO / Intune / Defender for Business policy, or code-sign the script with a trusted certificate.
- Windows 10/11, PowerShell 5.1+
- Administrator (auto-elevates)
