Captain orders now require an explicit Next action after seating selection. Table requirements follow shop settings, and unassigned orders remain visible instead of disappearing from the floor. Optional staff room orders accept a typed room number and an additional charge with guest agreement. Optional mobile shift recording uses the local till and rejects cloud/proxy attendance requests.

Room settings and sale charge fields use existing branch, settings and sales sync lanes. Attendance stays authoritative on the recording till; it is available through that till's shift records and is not a cross-till attendance service. The local-only classification prevents generic replication of concurrent open shifts. Existing tenants remain opted out.

Validation: 470 focused API tests passed across the main run and the seating timeout rerun; 53 KOT/receipt tests passed; 95 integration/translation checks passed across the main run and translation correction rerun; printer lifecycle regression passed. The full local check is being completed and required GitHub checks remain enforced. Physical Captain Wi-Fi-without-internet testing and the matching desktop installer rollout remain unverified.

Merged to develop. Anyone can test this - you do not need write access.

Try it at https://develop.posnic.io, or run it yourself:

git fetch origin develop && git checkout develop
npm install && npm --prefix api install
npm run dev # then http://localhost:3000

When you have tested it, say what you did and what happened, and set
QA passed or QA failed. If you cannot set labels, just comment -
a maintainer will.

Reporting that something is broken is as useful as fixing it. It is
better found here than by a shopkeeper.
