Recreate the release bump with the real author
When this exact bump is merged or tagged, its Git author and committer are recorded as Codex <codex@openai.com>, contrary to the repository's no-AI-attribution release rule in docs/standards/releases.md:39-40. The release check only searches commit bodies (%B), so CI does not catch this metadata; recreate the commit under the actual human author before tagging beta.7.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
The version, beta.7's notes and the in-flight row, as the bump's own commit (REL-13). Beta.7 is beta.6 plus the four fixes in #260 to #263. Merge with a merge commit, then smoke test on the Fold8, tag v0.6.8-beta.7 and sign. The stable's draft (#247) still needs its runbook and REL-4b pointed at beta.7.
