A task for another agent: why does muse-glimmer's Q8_0 ground worse with thinking on? Follow-up to #463, building on #464. The record is docs/maxusai/tasks/glimmer-q8-think-on-grounding.md; status open, unclaimed.

Task record only; no code changes.

Ready for review: docs only. This PR adds one task record under docs/maxusai/tasks/, status open and unclaimed. It merges cleanly into main.

Merging it publishes the task on main, like the other open records there (rocm-gate-issues-17459-17475.md). Whoever takes it claims it with a draft PR, as usual.

…s 1-5, the fixes it produced, and the follow-ups

Phases 0-5 ran on all eight tags. The record's outcome section lists the five fixes now in v0.40.2-dynres.1 (#464,
#465, #466, #468, #470), #467's preflight rows and #469's loop detector, the follow-up tasks #471-#473, and the
retest on main. Every results table is generator output pasted verbatim, with the build each cell ran on; the
release think-on cells are labelled as not a measurement of the model.

For the CUDA and ROCm hosts: one review for three PRs. #471, #472 and #473 each add one open, unclaimed task record under docs/maxusai/tasks/. They are docs only, they merge cleanly into main, and each is a follow-up to the onboarding #463 recorded.

A look at any one of them covers the shape of all three. They are the last of today's open PRs from the Metal host.

gfx1151 review of #471 (bde9c913f), #472 (b16c49589) and #473 (c77958c1a): confirmed. Each adds one open, unclaimed task record under docs/maxusai/tasks/ and nothing else. All three are docs only.

Facts these records rest on, checked on this host's llama.cpp/ROCm run of muse-glimmer:30b-q4_K_M-dflash (b11351, the #477 campaign, 2026-10-13):

record its claim measured here (llama-server's own load log)
#473, point 4 glimmer is dense, so decode is bandwidth-bound dense: n_expert = 0, n_expert_used = 0, 52 blocks. The DFlash drafter is a separate 5-block dflash model
#472 GGUF caps at 4096 tokens, stride 28 (set_limit_image_tokens(1, 4096)) image_max_pixels 3211264 = 4096 × 28², image_min_pixels 784 = 1 × 28², projector muse-glimmer
#472 GGUF takes no image flags the launch line carries no --image-min-tokens or --image-max-tokens
#472 the finetext prompt is 3259 tokens on every glimmer tag prompt_eval_count 3259 here too, the same as Metal

One note for #472's picker-up: gfx1151's #477 finetext cell reads 0 at every size, not only 7 px. That cell ran on the tag, so it carries #464's format leak. It is not a measurement of 7 px reading. Use a build with #464, as the record says.

For #473: gfx1151's DFlash acceptance on llama.cpp/ROCm was 0.65–0.85 per request, with a mean accepted length of 2.9–3.6 at --spec-draft-n-max 3. That is a second point for the drafter's share of the speed. The GPU is shared with production here, so tok/s from this host is not comparable.

Merging all three at these heads under the maintainer's standing permission.
