Canonical successor #1367 remains open/Draft at exact 1f620b2b4aac9d3a46239aee53719f017c789875. It changes the same three paths and completely carries the valid product contract: the native file input is sr-only, tabindex="-1", and aria-hidden="true"; a native button.primary-action exposes “Upload findings”; and the production IIFE delegates exactly one click to the native input.

#1367's regression is strictly stronger than source-text search: it parses attributes on the exact input/button elements, extracts the production IIFE, executes it under Node, and proves one native input click. Fresh exact-head verification is 20/20 passed, git diff --check clean, with a clean worktree.

This retirement transfers no Checks, approval, protected integration, or release state. #1367 still has 0 qualifying current-head approvals and its six hosted workflows failed before step materialization. No branch deletion, Force Push, destructive rebase, gate suppression, merge, or release is performed.

The historical review finding correctly required the test to bind the exact hidden-input attributes and real click delegation. #1367 completely resolves that requirement with element-bound parsing plus executed production JavaScript, rather than this branch's source-text assertion. Fresh predecessor verification is 19/19 passed and git diff --check clean. There is no unique valid delta left outside #1367.
