This reverts commit bfe1224. This is a straight revert, and we do not attempt a proper fix at this point since that would require careful granular locking around mutating operations which currently are scattered all over.

The previous canonifier expected versions to be single digit, so it did not work properly with the freshly released zeek-8.0.10.
