Clicking the tray icon or 'Show activity' did nothing whenever the KWin corner-placement script's readiness pulse was stale: the controller refused to open the panel without live placement and logged the refusal every second. Placement now only positions the panel; only the undecorated fallback bubble still needs it. The panel asks to stay above other windows, and the stale-placement diagnostic is logged once. The panel is rebuilt: running/queued/failed/slot counts, a banner naming why queued runs are held with its one-click remedy, filterable run cards with live elapsed time, job progress and hover retry/cancel, an empty state, runner controls folded under 'Manage runners', Esc to hide, a connection indicator and error toasts instead of silent failures. The tray icon is an anti-aliased ring and its tooltip says what runs now or how the last run ended.
