Adding a custom type currently means reading the install helpers and handler classes directly. Document registration, phrases, and uninstall steps so developers can add types without reverse engineering core code.
The guide sat outside the development section, apart from the other advanced topics, which made it hard to find.
The guide was written as plain Markdown without the advanced concepts category, and its handler and uninstall examples did not match current XenForo behavior. Convert it to MDX, add the category, document the phrase scaffolder, and correct the handler and uninstall steps.

Sorry for the delay on this one too, thanks again for the PR. As with your CLI command guide, I've rebased it on the current How do you like these changes? If you're happy with them, we'll merge. |
