END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING TRUESHIELD.
By installing, copying, or using TrueShield ("Software"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not install or use the Software.

Grant of License Subject to the terms of this Agreement, TrueShield grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on systems you own or operate, solely for personal or internal business security purposes.

Privileges & Background Service Operations By installing this Software, you grant TrueShield permission to:
Install and run a persistent Windows background service (TrueShield Engine Service / tssvc.exe) via service management tools.
Execute system tasks with elevated (Administrator) privileges to monitor, scan, and protect local files and memory.
Integrate shortcuts into the Windows Explorer context menu for file and directory scanning.
- Restrictions You shall not, and shall not permit others to:
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent permitted by applicable open-source licenses.
Rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or distribute the Software to third parties without prior written consent.
Use the Software in any unlawful manner or for any purpose that violates third-party rights.

Third-Party Components & Open Source The Software incorporates third-party open-source libraries and executables (including Qt frameworks, NSSM, and ClamAV components). These components are governed by their respective licenses (such as LGPL, GPL, or Public Domain). Nothing in this Agreement restricts your rights under applicable open-source licensing terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TRUESHIELD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL DETECT OR REMOVE 100% OF ALL KNOWN OR UNKNOWN SECURITY THREATS AND MALWARE.

Limitation of Liability IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS OF TRUESHIELD BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, SYSTEM DOWNTIME, OR UNINTENDED FILE QUARANTINE.

Termination This License is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and uninstall all copies of the Software.
