   Implemented in PR #387: #387

   • Uses the stable vuetify/date/adapters/string export.
   • Passes StringDateAdapter as a class so Vuetify controls construction and locale updates.
   • Keeps a clear Vuetify 3.9.0 compatibility guard.
   • Adds a regression test that loads the generated virtual module through Vite and verifies the adapter class.

   Validation completed locally:

   • Full package tests: 18 files, 59 tests passed.
   • Date configuration tests: 6 passed.
   • Package lint and prepack build passed.
   • git diff --check passed.

   The repository-wide vue-tsc --noEmit command still reports existing diagnostics in unrelated playground and runtime files; the changed test file is not among those diagnostics. The fork's CR workflow is currently waiting for upstream approval, while the Semantic PR check passed.
