Closing: this bump breaks the web build and needs a deliberate tsconfig migration first, not a dependency merge.

TypeScript 7 removed baseUrl and no longer accepts non-relative paths values. web/tsconfig.json uses both, so tsc refuses to load the config at all:

tsconfig.json(18,5): error TS5102: Option 'baseUrl' has been removed. Please remove it from your configuration.
  Use '"paths": {"*": ["./*"]}' instead.
tsconfig.json(20,15): error TS5090: Non-relative paths are not allowed. Did you forget a leading './'?

Reproduced both in this PR's build & test run and locally against the current main with npx -p typescript@7.0.2 tsc --noEmit. Since npm run build is tsc --noEmit && vite build, this blocks the entire web build.

The migration itself is small (drop baseUrl, rewrite "@/*": ["src/*"] to ["./src/*"]), but it should land as its own reviewed change alongside the extension's TS 7 fixes in #320, with the compiler bump following after. Dependabot will re-raise this once that is in place.
