The Verity entity is the centerpiece of this mod. Unlike vanilla hostile mobs:

The Verity mod is a fan-made content mod for Minecraft Java Edition. It is not official Mojang content and is not affiliated with the SCP Foundation, any ARG, or existing game franchise. The name and concept were created independently by the mod author.
Verity adds content to world generation at multiple levels:
- Overworld — new biomes with unique terrain shapes appear naturally in both new and existing chunks
- Underground — custom structures spawn in the deep cave layer
- Custom dimension — accessed through a craftable portal frame using Verity drop materials
- Nether/End — minor additions to existing dimensions (structures and mob spawns)

- Forge or Fabric Loader matching your Minecraft version
- 8 GB RAM or more allocated to Minecraft (16 GB recommended with shader packs)

Verity not spawning in my world? The mob spawns in specific biome conditions — it won't appear in all biomes. Explore the new Verity biomes (they have a distinct visual style) for reliable spawns. Make sure mob spawning is enabled in your world settings.
Game crashing on world load? Check the crash log for a mod conflict. Disable recently added mods one by one to identify the issue. Common conflicts are with other world generation mods that register biomes in the same namespace.
The mod jar shows as "unknown" in Fabric? This is a display issue with some Fabric versions — the mod loads correctly. Update Fabric Loader to the latest version to fix the label.
Verity dimension portal not working? Make sure you've crafted the frame with the correct Verity materials (see in-game JEI or the included guide book). The portal requires a 3×4 frame, not 4×5 like the Nether portal.
