Summary

  • Adds full release notes sections for 26.1.4 (April 2026) and 26.1.5 (May 2026) to docs/release-notes/26-1-release-notes.md.
  • Updates docs/release-notes/release-notes-overview.md so the 26.1 row points at 26.1.5 (May 2026) as the latest version.
  • Updates the "Latest Version" callout at the top of the 26.1 page to 26.1.5.

What's in 26.1.5

  • Hardware: PERC H975i RAID controller, Intel E610 NIC
  • vGPU: NVIDIA GRID 20.1, 19.5, 16.14
  • Secure Boot: universal pre-patched OVMF vars file with the 2023 Microsoft Cross-Root CA patch
  • Audit logging: tags, categories, member assignments; true creator on tasks
  • Bug fixes: VLAN 4095 validation, VM/drive clone serial preservation, console keyboard focus, syslog alarm forwarding, vSAN diagnostics, "vSAN Exit" banner wording, tenant Update Settings visibility

What's in 26.1.4

  • Serial console: complete overhaul replacing vncterm — framebuffering, multiple simultaneous connections, live migration, auto-reconnect
  • Security: API key IP Allow/Deny list enforcement (previously not enforced), 0.0.0.0/0 blocked, TOTP bypass via API closed, login flood protection, account lockout enforcement
  • oVirt/Veeam: engine ID uniqueness across tenants, login-after-update regression, worker availability, tag support — all four known issues from 26.1.3.1 are resolved
  • Upgrade reliability: out-of-order node upgrades no longer stall migrations
  • System stability: stack-overflow guard pages, memory leak fixes in proxy processing, faster log rotation, UI availability during node1 reboot
  • Password generation: now respects strict tenant password policies
  • 14 fix subsections total covering Authentication & SSO, VMs, UI, Networking, vSAN, NAS, Scheduling & Tasks, Installer, API, and more

Test plan

  • Open the deployed 26.1 page and confirm 26.1.5 and 26.1.4 render with correct heading hierarchy and admonitions
  • Verify the Release Notes overview table shows 26.1.5 (May 2026) as the latest 26.1 version
  • Confirm the 26.1.3.1 "oVirt API Issues" callout still correctly states the issues are resolved in 26.1.4
  • Spot-check inline code spans (e.g., OVMF_VARS_4M.ms.2023.fd, verge.io, openid-well-known, 0.0.0.0/0) render as monospace

Add full release notes sections for 26.1.4 (April 2026) and 26.1.5
(May 2026), and update the overview table to point at 26.1.5 as the
latest 26.1 version.

26.1.4 covers the serial console overhaul, API key IP allow/deny
enforcement, oVirt API fixes that resolve the known issues from
26.1.3.1, password generation respecting strict tenant policies, and
upgrade-path reliability for out-of-order node upgrades. 26.1.5 adds
PERC H975i and Intel E610 support, NVIDIA GRID 20.1/19.5/16.14, a
universal pre-patched OVMF vars file with the 2023 Microsoft CA, and
audit logging for tags, categories, and members.
