Field Profitability Ledger

Field Profitability Ledger helps you understand how each field performs in Farming Simulator 25. It records field work, inputs, harvests, machinery, and labour for each crop cycle, then brings the results together in a clear in-game ledger.

Version 1.0.0.0 is the first release. It is available from the official ModHub for PC and Mac.

Installation

The easiest way to install the mod is through the in-game Downloadable Content menu.

For a manual installation:

1. Download FS25_FieldProfitabilityLedger.zip from ModHub or the latest GitHub release.
2. Copy the ZIP into your Farming Simulator 25 mods folder.
3. Do not unpack or rename the ZIP.
4. Enable Field Profitability Ledger when loading a single-player save.

Using the ledger

Press Alt+L to open Field Profitability Ledger. The key can be changed in the Farming Simulator controls menu.

The ledger contains five main pages:

• Overview shows totals and the overall result for the selected crop cycle.
• Activity lists the field work, inputs, harvest, machinery, and labour recorded for that cycle.
• Scenario lets you include or exclude selected cost groups to explore a projected result.
• Compare compares the selected cycle with other fields growing the same crop.
• Settings controls display order, excluded records, exports, and other ledger options.

Use Current, History, and All to move between active and completed crop cycles. Completed cycles can also be closed manually from the ledger when needed.

What is recorded

Field Profitability Ledger covers common field operations such as cultivation, plowing, planting, fertilizing, spraying, rolling, and harvesting. It can also record supported seed, fertilizer, lime, herbicide, manure, slurry, digestate, fuel, DEF, machinery use, wear, repair liability, and labour activity.

The first release supports the standard Farming Simulator 25 field crops and their usual base-game machinery paths. If the mod cannot identify a value with enough confidence, it displays that value as unavailable instead of guessing.

Understanding the results

The ledger keeps recorded activity separate from calculated values:

• Physical work, quantities, and time come from observed gameplay activity.
• Input, fuel, crop, machinery, and labour values use the relevant in-game prices or clearly identified allocation rules.
• Projected margin is an estimate for comparing crop cycles. It is not the same as final sale profit, because crops may be stored, processed, fed to animals, or sold later at a different price.

Original records remain available when a correction or exclusion is added, so changes can always be reviewed in the audit history.

CSV exports

The ledger can export:

• a summary of crop cycles;
• detailed activity for the selected cycle; and
• the correction and exclusion audit trail.

Exports are saved in:

modSettings/FS25_FieldProfitabilityLedger/exports

CSV files use a stable format and can be opened in common spreadsheet applications.

Compatibility and privacy

Version 1.0.0.0 supports Farming Simulator 25 on PC and Mac in single-player. Multiplayer and dedicated servers are not supported in this release.

Precision Farming and automation mods can work with the ledger when they use the normal Farming Simulator field-work processes. Results may vary with custom crops, maps, vehicles, or implements.

Ledger data is stored locally. Field Profitability Ledger does not use telemetry, external services, or network connections.

Reporting a problem

Please use the GitHub issue tracker and include:

• the Field Profitability Ledger and Farming Simulator versions;
• the map, crop, vehicle, and operation involved;
• clear steps to reproduce the problem; and
• relevant Field Profitability Ledger log lines.

Remove personal file paths or other private information before posting logs.
