Release dates are recorded once in ISO 8601 format at the version heading, while notable user-facing entries link to their public GitHub PRs. Maintenance-only Git history is intentionally omitted.
The v1.1.0 section compares against v1.0.4 so that release sections do not overlap. Earlier public releases were reconstructed from their GitHub Releases, tags, and merged PRs.
Compatibility
The exported
MajorVersion,MinorVersion,PatchVersion, andVersionSuffixconstants are removed. Consumers should usetrpc.Version()to obtain the complete version string.go-apidiffis expected to report the removal of these four constants. This is the intended API cleanup for the release; the PR does not add a CI exemption.Testing
