Flood mapping and damage assessment in GEE
The Wetland Extent Tool (WET) was developed by the 2019 Spring JPL Great Lakes Water Resources team for wetland mapping in Minnesota using Sentinel-1 C-SAR, Landsat 8 OLI, and a LiDAR-derived Topographic Wetness Index (TWI) in Google Earth Engine.
This script processes Sentinel-2 satellite imagery to calculate various indices (NDVI, MNDWI, SAVI, NDBI).
Deep learning-based semantic segmentation of Sentinel-2 multispectral imagery for agricultural land cover classification. The project uses a custom Attention U-Net with spectral indices (NDVI, NDWI, MNDWI, EVI, AWEI) and an end-to-end pipeline including auto-labeling, patch-based training, and GIS-ready inference.
