This branch is intended to explore using moist heat capacities and temperature-dependent latent heats across physics schemes, essentially by replacing cp with cpm = cpd + q*cpv + ql*cl + qf*cf, and lv with lv0 - (cpv - cl)*Tm.

So far this has been rolled out across:

  • Wilson-Ballard microphysics
  • large-scale cloud schemes
  • boundary layer scheme
  • radiation
  • Jules
  • Casim
  • the energy correction and related diagnostics
  • a switch has been added to turn this on for Comorph
