A Pock Touch Bar widget that shows remaining usage quota for AI CLI providers (Codex, Claude, and others) tracked by CodexBar.
- Pock 1.10+
- The
codexbarCLI installed and reachable from/opt/homebrew/bin,/usr/local/bin, orCodexBar.app, already set up and with at least one provider enabled (see below) — the widget only renders whatcodexbarreturns, it does not do any auth/setup itself.
This widget is a thin display layer over the codexbar CLI — it will show "CodexBar CLI not found" or "No providers enabled" until CodexBar itself is installed and configured:
- Install CodexBar:
brew install --cask codexbar, or download a CLI tarball from CodexBar releases. - Enable the providers you want to track and sign in to each, either via the CodexBar app (Settings → Providers) or from the CLI, e.g.:
codexbar config enable --provider codex codexbar config enable --provider claude
- Confirm it works on its own before installing the widget:
codexbar --format json --no-color
See the CodexBar CLI configuration guide for the full provider list and auth flows.
- Open
pock-codexbar-widget.xcodeprojin Xcode (dependencies are resolved automatically via Swift Package Manager). - Build the
pock-codexbar-widgettarget. The build phase installs the resulting.pockbundle into Pock automatically. - Enable "CodexBar" from Pock's widget manager.
- Click the widget to force an immediate refresh, bypassing the cache.
- Open the widget's preferences (from Pock's widget manager) to choose:
- Usage window: automatic, session only, or weekly only
- Refresh interval
- Whether to show the reset countdown
