Dashboard - Selling

When entering items in the textarea under "Selling" and then clicking "Get Estimate" a popup modal window displays with a spinning cursor and then nothing.

Where is pricing pulled from?

pricing is pulled through the same mechanism as the buying area, but current selling is an incomplete feature. :( sorry, meant to have it done a while ago, but life got a little hectic.

Is this something that will be completed soon? I am very interested in using this software with our Corp/Alliance

Unfortunately I don't have time to complete this feature at the moment. You can turn off the entitlement for selling (so that it is not visible) and use the system for buying items from your corp/alliance. There are several alliances that use the buy feature very heavily.

I'm probably way misunderstanding this, but if this is disabled - how do people use the buyback? Does this track mining ledgers only or what's the process? I was thinking pilots take their list of junk, paste it in for the estimate and set a pending sale. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

The main feature of allowing pilots to copy/paste their assets in, receive a quote based off a percentage of market prices, and then make an in-game contract to sell their things to the corp was fully functional. There were some ancillary features (buy things from the corp, etc.) that were never completed.

It doesn't look at mining ledgers - those came out after this was developed. This hasn't been maintained either, so it likely uses older versions of the market APIs which may or may not work any longer.

OK perfect then this sounds like exactly what I need! Where do pilots copy/paste in the assets that they'd like to sell to the corp if not on the "Selling" section of the dashboard?

I forget what the naming in the app is... It was kinda confusing if I remember. It's a "buyback" app in context of the corporation, so the Corp/Alliance buys or sells. This open issue is for selling (the corp selling to pilots).

I think if you log in as a user, the page might say "sell" since from their standpoint, they'd be selling to the corp.

Gotcha. OK I will try logging in as a user and going that route. But yes that's what I'd like to do is act "as the corp" buying from the pilots based on stuff they paste in from their inventory. Thank you so much for the help.

Glad it still works and that you have a use for it! We used it to great success for several years.
