The following tools and manuals have been shared by publishers using Thoth as hands-on solutions to problems they have been facing in parts of their publishing workflow.

Please note that Thoth is not directly involved in the development of those tools. Please be in touch with each publisher directly if have questions or feedback

  • Chapter Splitter splits PDF books by chapters and writes metadata into the generated files.
  • Citex extracts citation data from EPUBs and uploads it to a metadata repository.
  • DOI Extraction via Python Script to extract and upload DOI references to Thoth.
  • epublius generates a stylised HTML site from an ePub book.

The Thoth Wiki has been developed in the context of the COPIM (Community-led Open Publication Infrastructures for Monographs) project.
