- Hardware Specifications: Quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of Flash storage, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, and Thread radio support. USB expansion is supported for additional radio or storage devices.
- Open Source Development: Fully supported with all source code available on GitHub. Customers can re-flash the device using the tools provided in the GitHub repository.
- Out-of-the-Box Experience: Comes preloaded with an Armbian Linux environment, supporting dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz). A factory reset will restore the device to a clean Linux environment.
- Pre-Installed Software: Comes pre-installed with Home Assistant (Core + Matter). For Zigbee, Home Assistant can run in either ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT (Z2M) mode, and you can switch between them at any time. With USB storage support, customers can easily install or update the software in minutes.
- OTA Updates: System-level OTA updates are supported by the device, while app-level OTA updates are managed separately by each application.
- Third Reality App: Assists customers in configuring the network and installing one of the pre-configured packages.
- Compile the Firmware — Build the LinuxBox image from source.
