I found the original data that went into hydra-sim and found at least one error (little skate substituted in diet for winter skate, which truly nothing eats) and am perplexed at the decision process that left silver hake out of mackerel diet, unless I only looked at spring diet?

This is a table of the diet percentages I found. The original query is lost to time (I don't know if I did it or if this was the result of a a data request). Perhaps we can use this for establishing include/exclude cutoffs (I can generate a similar table with updated data but wanted to compare to original model inputs as well).

Based on discussion in January 2023 and review of Georges Bank diet data included in the mskeyrun dataset, a decision rule requiring predators to eat modeled prey in about a third of model years was implemented.

This decision rule drops Atlantic herring, Atlantic mackerel, haddock, and yellowtail flounder as predators from the GB mskeyrun dataset. Input data generation in hydradata makes a new input matrix based on this and also eliminates time series of diet data for the dropped species.
