First release candidate for v1.0.0 — an interim, feedback-seeking tag under a "may still change" banner, not the v1.0.0 contract. Narrows the freeze to the core (iso8583, packager, fieldcodec, lengthcodec, render); higher layers stay experimental. HSM production crypto (roadmap B1) not yet shipped.
