Build and install

Source beta · 0.1.3. There is no downloadable GitHub release yet. The steps below build the installer locally.

Build requirements: Node.js 22+, npm and Python 3.10+.

This creates releases/NEXCORE-Focus-0.1.3.ehpk. Upload that generated file to your Even Hub developer project and install it through the Even phone app.

The app requires Even app 2.2.10+ and G2. Its package ID is ai.nexcore.g2.focus; it installs alongside My Pomodoro, with separate app data.

The browser preview supports the task list and timer. For glasses simulation, follow the development and verification notes.

Voice and privacy

First dictation downloads approximately 249 MB of pinned model weights from Hugging Face, verifies their checksums and caches them on the phone. Later recognition uses that local cache. Recordings are not uploaded or saved; no speech API key or cloud account is needed.

Tasks and session history stay on the phone. Export them from Settings before uninstalling or clearing Even's data. The interface is English; dictation supports Russian and English.

Beta checks still needed: first-use model download, offline reopening and dictation quality/latency in the installed phone/G2 environment. See what has been verified before relying on the beta.

Controls

On the phone, add a task and select it to focus. On G2, scroll to select, tap to activate and double-tap to go back. In the focused-task HUD, hold to return to the menu.
