Webloc Decoder is a simple tool for opening macOS Website Locations or .webloc files on Windows in the default browser. This package also contains a script for converting them to standard URL Internet Shortcuts or .url files.

Tip

How to Use

  1. After installing, use the context menu on any .webloc file, select Open With
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the prompt and select "Choose an app on your PC"
  3. Locate wlocrun.cmd in %SystemDrive%\Program Files\WeblocDecoder\ and select Open
  4. Select Always
  5. Do whatever you wish with wlocconv.cmd, it can be used from any directory as needed
