Much thanks for this Alt-Tab. It would be nice if we could edit the config without having to compile.

Icon: Height, Width
Selected Application: Outline Color, Outline Width, Inner Dimming Level
Text (on Selected Application): Color, Font Family, Font Weight, Font Size, Margin
Area/Container: Color, Padding, Height
Margin between icons

Disable Mouse Hover: On/Off
Tab Cycling: On/Off

It would be nice if these parameters could be modified in a config file. Maybe not all of them can be added.

Ok, thanks! I will include some of these in run-time config soon. Some notes:

• Selection outline color is already configurable; it follows the accent color of your windows theme. I can make it fully customizable
• Also selection outline corner radius?
• What is "inner dimming level"?
• What do you mean by "margin" for text?
• "Disable House Hover": Do you mean disable mouse support?
• What do you mean by "Tab Cycling On/Off"?

Hi @stianhoiland love this app! Adding on to this, is there any way to configure hotkeys without compiling? Eg. I want to use another shortcut to cycle between windows of the same app instead of Alt + tilde. If not, would it be possible to add it in? Thanks so much!

Hi @ngoivanessa. Apologies for a very late reply!

This isn't possible currently, sorry. You might want to look at prechelt's fork, which has not tracked the latest updates to cmdtab but has such configuration. Though they haven't uploaded any binaries, so you'd have to compile anyway!

You may not be a developer but compiling is super easy. Honestly, it will take 5 minutes!

1. Download a copy of the cmdtab source code (not a .zip binary release) and extract it
2. Download w64devkit (this is what I use) and run it to extract it somewhere
3. Start w64devkit.exe and cd to the extracted cmdtab source code
4. Run make release
5. Now you can run cmdtab.exe

You can now make any changes you want to the source code, re-run make release, and have a new cmdtab.exe with your changes :)
