has 100.0% function recall** against the pinned corpus — GitGalaxy ties or beats tree-sitter and
ctags on function detection everywhere.

**Function precision (2026-08-30):** dart was the last language below 100.0% validated function
precision (9 discrepancies). Two were tree-sitter's own blind spot — redirecting factory
constructors (`factory Foo.named(...) = Bar;`), a node type missing from the audit's ground-truth
registry (`why_gitgalaxy_beats_ast_here.md` Claim 5). The other seven were genuine `func_start`
over-reach: an expression on a continuation line (`x?.foo(a) ??\n Type.method(b)`) reading as
`<return type> <name>(`, plus the dart keywords `in` / `on` leaking through the return-type token
loop. Fixed via a detector-side expression-position guard + keyword exclusions. **Every
tree-sitter-comparable language is now at 100.0% on both function recall and validated function
precision.**
