@judy2k, what is your stance on that? I mostly decided to use the Unlicense for this module since it's the same license used by stupid-python-tricks and ish which inspired me to create python-goto. Since the humorist nature of these projects, I'm less concerned about the legal applicability of the license, and FWIW I like the attitude of the Unlicense for this purpose. On the other hand, if anybody wants to use modules like goto or ish in production that is hilarious, and I don't want to keep them back by a license issue.

CC0 is also a bad license for software because it explicitly disclaims a patent grant. Fedora even went as far as outright disallowing the license for code for that reason:
