Summary

  • Preserve natural hedge words (imo, i guess, i think, maybe) instead of always compressing to "probably" — real engineer chat keeps these rather than flattening every hedge.
  • Recalibrate intensity level 1-3 examples so the default (level 2) reads as a loose, lowercase clause rather than a clipped fragment string; pushed the more telegraphic phrasing to level 3.
  • Added stupidity-audit checks and a new failure mode ("over-compression into telegram-speak") to catch chopping hedge words or over-fragmenting by default.
  • Dropped w/, w/o, rn from the vocabulary compression table.

Test plan

  • Read through full file for internal consistency (examples match new level descriptions)
  • Confirmed README.md examples/intensity description still consistent (level labels unchanged)
  • Local pre-push review (adversarial + codebase reviewer) passed

Real engineer chat keeps words like imo/i guess/i think rather than
compressing every hedge to "probably", and default-level output should
read as a loose typed clause, not a string of clipped fragments. Drop
w/, w/o, and rn from vocabulary compression table.
