Require patched Node.js 24.22.1 or newer within the Node 24 release line following CVE-2026-111497. Update the relevant application engines, version files, CI pins, or Docker images.

Validation: changed JSON parses successfully, Git whitespace checks pass, and changed workflow YAML parses successfully. Existing deployments still require rollout and verification of their actual Node patch version. AWS managed runtime patch versions cannot be inferred from a nodejs22.x or nodejs24.x identifier.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated the required Node.js version to 24.22.1 or later within the 24.x series. Environments using earlier Node.js versions may need an update to meet the new requirement when installing or running the project. This change does not add or remove any end-user features.

🔒 Security & Privacy | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win

Enforce the patch floor in quickstart.

scripts/quickstart.sh extracts only 24 from .node-version, so it accepts versions such as Node.js 24.16.0. A user can complete the supported setup with a runtime below the security patch floor. Compare the full installed version with 24.22.1, and update scripts/test_quickstart.py accordingly.
