Problem
Session Clock renders its label by hardcoding the Session: prefix, so a global compact-labels setting can never shrink it, while other labeled widgets compact (Session: 58m → S:58m).
Context correction (2026-09-28)
An earlier revision of this issue claimed the compact-label infrastructure was already in place upstream — that is wrong: COMPACT_LABELS presets and the global compactLabels setting currently exist only in the axisrow fork (implementing #610, fork PRs axisrow#21 and #27). Upstream raw-or-labeled.ts has the raw/labeled helper but no preset map.
So the natural vehicle for S:58m on Session Clock is #610: once compact-label presets land upstream, Session Clock should be routed through the same helper (it hardcodes Session: ${x} in three places today). Fork reference implementation: axisrow#38.
