This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
- Add env vars:
cp .env.local.example .env.localThen set OPENAI_API_KEY in .env.local.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
This project renders a split layout:
- Left: Tiptap editor
- Right: streaming chat (
/api/chat) using AI SDK UI (useChat)
The editor content is not sent to the chat API.
- Chat logs:
data/chat-log.jsonl(written on each assistant finish / error) - Submissions (Editor “Submit”):
data/submissions/*.json(includes editor text/html + chat messages)
