This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

1. Add env vars:

cp .env.local.example .env.local

Then set OPENAI_API_KEY in .env.local.

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

This project renders a split layout:

• Left: Tiptap editor
• Right: streaming chat (/api/chat) using AI SDK UI (useChat)

The editor content is not sent to the chat API.

Data saving

• Chat logs: data/chat-log.jsonl (written on each assistant finish / error)
• Submissions (Editor “Submit”): data/submissions/*.json (includes editor text/html + chat messages)
